The crowd was truly energized as LegalTech's exhibit floor opened yesterday after a powerful keynote interview with AG Loretta Lynch (2015-2017) and AG Alberto Gonzales (2005-2007). Traffic on the show floor was non-stop as attendees from law firms and corporations shopped to see what was new in legal technology.

I had a number of great conversations with some large blue chip corporations who discussed the challenges they had with their current eDiscovery tools. Many expressed frustration with the cadre of vendors that they had collected over time. This vendor is good at AI but not good on small datasets, this other has great search, but doesn't work well on large email volumes, etc.

The highlight of the day for me was stopping a group of attendees from a large insurance company to talk about ZyLAB and after 15 minutes they texted their paralegals to cover and see the solution. The team wound up spending about 45 minutes with us and already want a follow-up meeting. They had never heard of ZyLAB before today, so this is why we are here at LegalTech and why we endure long days on the show floor.
