Leaders from small and mid-size law firms are starting to recognize the value of in-house eDiscovery for their clients. SaaS cloud technologies have eliminated the need for large, upfront purchases and continual maintenance costs through transparent consumption pricing models that offer flexible, affordable rates.  Because of this, the number of firms that have brought eDiscovery tools in-house, is clearly rising. Almost 75% of the firms now have eDiscovery tools in-house.

Price is no longer a roadblock. When asked what matters most in their eDiscovery solution, more relevant aspects as ease of use, quality, accuracy, trust and confidence all come first.

“Ease of use” most important

“Ease of use” (36%), and “quality and accuracy” (36%) are the most important benchmarks when law firms evaluate an eDiscovery solution.

Even when the respondents could change one thing about their current eDiscovery tool, “costs” would only come third.
