I'm going give you some advice, but you have to promise you won't tell your ZyLAB Instructor that I told you this. Here it is: if you are attending an instructor-led ZyLAB training class, joining a remote training session or participating in an on-line Lunch-and-Learn, don't worry about remembering everything your ZyLAB Instructor tells you.
I'm sorry, what?
Yes, don't worry about remembering everything you see and hear. In fact, don't even try to remember it all. Seriously. Just to be clear, I'm not giving you a free pass to take a nap, browse social media or explore trading in crypto-currency during class. Please listen, learn, and take advantage of all you can from our ZyLAB ONE Certified expert trainers. Pay close attention to all the valuable tips and tricks, and understand the power the technology has to make your job--and life--easier. Just don't feel pressured to retain all the mind-blowing information you'll be given.
First of all, that's not how we learn. Even with full attention and focus, the human brain can process and retain only so much at one time. (And, let's be honest, who knows how much of your brain space is being consumed by thinking of that work emergency, your sick child or if you left the stove on at home.) We need repetition, review and time to process. Learning is on-going. There is no expectation that at the completion of a training session, or the end of an online video, or even after reading a paragraph in a user guide, that everything will stick. No matter how well we design the course, or how masterfully our instructors teach you on the best ways to use ZyLAB ONE eDiscovery, you won't know it all by the end of the day. Don't put unrealistic pressure on yourself. Don't set yourself up for failure.
Another reason not to worry about remembering everything? The ZyLAB education event will not be your only chance to learn. You will have more opportunities.
Okay, okay. When?
Anytime you want.
You're going to have to tell me how
