Overview of ZyIMAGE's XML Data Repository Structure ZyIMAGE's solid foundation: a large XML data repository The central element of the ZyIMAGE product suite is a large XML data repository, in which all unstructured data is stored. Integrated functionalities enable users to capture and add new data, analyze and collaborate on the data in the XML database, and retrieve and share this data. Because of its modular structure, ZyIMAGE is completely scalable and therefore provides a solution for both small and medium sized businesses as well as large-scale production environments. The ZyLAB data repository can be any storage system varying from a simple flat file system stored on a CD, DVD, NTFS or a SAN to an advanced third-party XML database such as Software AG's Tamino or Oracle's 9i XML storage.
