ZyLAB Opens New North American Corporate Office to Accommodate Explosive Growth

Larger Office Space to House Growing Commercial, Government and Channel Sales
Teams as well as Sales Engineering and Support

March 21, 2005 - McLean, VA - ZyLAB, an innovative developer of content management and compliance solutions for paper intensive organizations, today announced the opening of its new North American headquarters located at 1577 Springhill Road, Vienna, Virginia, 22182. The move was necessary to accommodate the company’s growth driven by ZyLAB's profitability and market success since coming into the Washington D.C. area in 2003.

During the past two years, ZyLAB has experienced phenomenal growth - the company has grown by almost 1,000 percent. In order to support this growth, the company is focused on building out a first-class sales, engineering and customer support organization. This new space, three times the size of its existing space, allows the organization to continue to aggressively expand. In addition to housing all the major corporate functions, the new facility features an on-site customer briefing center, a dedicated space for clients to consult with ZyLAB's content management and compliance experts and view the latest solutions from ZyLAB.

"It is exciting to see a small technology company such as ZyLAB achieve such success after only being the area for two years," said Gerald L. Gordon, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. "Fairfax County is home to thousands of companies and federal agencies that need help managing their paper files, electronic documents and e-mail. In building out the North American operations, ZyLAB identified Fairfax County as a strategic location and it is paying off."

In 2005, ZyLAB will focus heavily on selling its low-cost solutions to small and medium-sized business (SMB) that are publicly-traded and must adhere to today's compliance challenges. The company also plans to continue building out its channel program. In addition, the company will continue to expand its successful Federal government sales.

"Establishing our North American headquarters in Fairfax County has allowed us to reach thousands of local organizations in need of our content management and compliance solutions," said Dr. Johannes Scholtes, president of ZyLAB North America LLC. "We develop and sell software that digitally archives, searches, finds, organizes, manages, shares, and retrieves paper and electronic files, including email messages and their attachments. This new location in Vienna provides ample room for us to continue to grow and interact directly with our clients."
