Software; Enables Organizations to Easily Meet Compliance Requirements
|
ZyIMAGE Provides Users Ability to Manage, Investigate, Retrieve,
and Share Information from Millions of Archived Records - Including
Paper and E-Mail
January 14, 2005 - McLean, VA - ZyLAB, an
established market leader of content- management solutions for
paper-intensive organizations, today announced that it has released
Service Pack 4, the latest version of ZyIMAGE. Service Pack 4
contains over 200 enhancements, including significant performance
modifications as well as new ZyIMAGE software modules.
This upgrade is free for ZyLAB clients with valid
annual maintenance and support (AMS) contracts as well as valid
licenses for their ZyIMAGE software modules.
Importantly, these ZyIMAGE enhancements and modifications
offer organizations the most cost-effective, comprehensive and
easy-to-use solution for enabling adherence to regulations such
as Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC 17a-4, NASD-3010 and FDA CFR 21 Part 11.
Some of the major enhancements include:
- Enhanced DoD 5015.2-Compliant RMA: ZyIMAGE has earned
the Department of Defense (DoD) 5015.2 STD records management
certification. The DoD 5015.2 STD is a stringent standard used
by the DoD and other government agencies to establish proper
criteria for selecting and implementing records management applications
as well as creating, storing, retaining, accessing and disposing
of records.
-
Federator Module: allows organizations
to search Webservers located at multiple sites from a single
location - with one query, searches can take place in all selected
archives, independent of their location. Now organizations with
offices in different locations can research all of their information
regardless of which ZyLAB archive the information is stored.
-
ZyIMAGE Exchange Connector: offers users
the ability to manage vast amounts of e-mail, which helps support
compliance with today's regulations. ZyLAB's new ZyIMAGE Exchange
Connector enables users to archive information from their Microsoft
Exchange Server into a ZyIMAGE XML Repository.
-
ZyIMAGE Screen Scraper: enables users
to easily integrate existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP),
Financial or Human Resources Management (HRM) applications with
the document imaging capabilities of ZyIMAGE - without any additional
programming. With one click, users can launch searches for documents
in ZyIMAGE with information from critical business applications.
In addition to these significant new tooling upgrades,
Service Pack 4 offers over 200 extra performance enhancements,
including even faster and more detailed search capabilities, improved
usability and more comprehensive OS support.
