Technical Project EngineerZyLAB is looking for a Technical Project Engineer to provide on-site installation, training, consultancy services and if possible pre-sales support to our customers. As a Technical Project Engineer, you will be part of ZyLABs' international team that provides on-site services with our customers, end-users, internal sales force and partners. Must be able to provide friendly and professional customer service. This role requires an excellent communicator and a good troubleshooter in addition to being patient, accurate and a fast learner. Travel is a requirement for this position and can range from 25%-50% depending upon sales activity. If you like to travel, regular travel to Europe (Amsterdam, London, Barcelona) for product training and to provide installation assistance can become part of your job. Must have a college degree or equivalent with a MCP or MCSE. Must fully understand networks, security, scripting tools and Windows-based workstation and server hardware. Experience with document-management, scanning or full-text retrieval applications is preferred. Requires someone who is fluent in English, both written and verbal. We expect you to be able to work proficiently as both an individual and a team member. The position is based in ZyLAB’s McLean, Virginia office in the Washington DC metro area.
